1. Choose a target your radar can find

Use the Eggs directory to select a rarity before spending on gear. Advanced Radar tracks Rare eggs and is listed at $50; Jewel tracks Epic at $3,000; Royal tracks Legendary at $20,000. Cracked, Easter, Stone, and Leaf are Rare examples. Mushroom, Flower, Slime, and Ice are Epic examples, while Glass and Golden are Legendary.

Higher records list Magic Radar for Mythic at $300,000, Angelic for Divine at $7M, and Eternal for Ethereal at $30M. Buy the tier that matches your target after checking stock and the displayed price, then follow its activation prompt.

2. Practice the return before a rare pickup

Start from your ranch and ride toward one recognizable landmark. Turn back along the same route before hunting in earnest. Find the difficult step now: a ledge, a narrow cave exit, or a turn that hides your plot. A route you can travel outward is only useful if you can also carry an egg home through it.

Choose your mount for that obstacle. Spider's community base jump is 129, compared with Giraffe's 83, even though Giraffe has much higher base speed. That makes jump a separate comparison when your route has ledges. Test the actual pets you own rather than assuming the faster row always solves difficult terrain.

3. Search landmarks, then commit to the return

For an advanced search, the Solaris location guide names the grey mountain behind the waterfall, the Giant Tree's upper branches, the cave, and the desert's pyramid and maze. Solaris is recorded as Ethereal, so Eternal is the matching radar. Pick one of those areas and learn its entrance and exit before searching the next one.

At the egg, read the name and warnings. Collect it and follow the return marker or your practiced path to an empty nest. Stop scouting once the carry countdown starts. A lucky sighting can still end in a broken egg if you spend the return trip looking for something rarer; finish the hatch before choosing another target.

4. Judge the route by completed hatches

Record the target, search area, and whether you brought it home. A failed pickup points to reach, navigation, or competition; a completed hatch gives you a pet to compare. Repeat the successful circuit before adding another zone.

An egg's documented Luck value is a comparison column, not a published probability formula. Do not turn it into a promised Dragon chance or invent an exclusive pet pool. Use the directory for target selection and the result for your collection. If the hunt repeatedly fails on the return, spend the next session improving the ride or practicing the troublesome section.

  • Match the radar to rarity before checking the shop.
  • Practice cave exits and ledges without carrying an egg.
  • Count completed returns, not rare spawn announcements, when comparing routes.
